Home Harvesting Manufacturing Contact Us

Hi, my name is Greg Maurer and I am the owner and original founder of Maurer Brothers Harvesting & Manufacturing. In 1977, I decided I would like to do custom harvesting, as I had gone south one summer with my uncle and loved it!! I bought a 1995 JD combine and a 1966 3-ton grain truck and I was in business. In 1981, two of my brothers joined up with me and we formed Maurer Brothers Harvesting. After a few years, the younger of the two got married and he stayed home to help on the family farm. A few years after that, my older brother decided to go back to work as a draftsman (which was his trade) and my youngest brother joined up with me. After several years, he decided to join my brother, Daryl, on the family farm and my son, Korey joined up with me and we continued to work together. We then decided to try our hand in manufacturing as I had built most of our combine and header trailers over the years. We found a niche in the livestock market and started building portable cattle shelters in 1999. We are currently running six combines 9770's, ten semis (all white Peterbilts), four grain carts (one on tracks for wet conditions). We reside at Ipswich, South Dakota and we harvest from San Angelo, Texas to Bowbells, North Dakota. Our contact numbers are 605-426-6027 Home; 605-380-0610 my cell; and 605-380-0002 Korey's cell . Thank you for your time !! We would love to be of service to you !!

Yours truly, GREG MAURER
